WEDNESDAY, JULY 28, 2010 AT 7:30 P.M.
The electors of the Town of Morris and those persons eligible to vote in Town Meetings in said Town, are hereby warned and notified to meet in the Morris Community Hall, 3 East Street, Morris, Connecticut on July 28, 2010 at 7:30 P.M. for the Special Town Meeting for the following purposes:
1. To take such action as the voters deem best with respect to deferring implementation of the
revaluation of real property under the Connecticut General Statutes section 12-62 scheduled
for the October 1, 2010 assessment year until the October 1, 2011 assessment year.
2. To take such action as the voters deem best with respect to the following resolution:
“RESOLVED to authorize and instruct the Selectmen to enter into an agreement in the
name of and on behalf of the Town of Morris with the State of Connecticut, Department of
Transportation, Bureau of Highways, for the expenditures of all funds available to said Town
under the provisions of the General Statutes relating to town aid for road or highway
purposes for the State fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010.”
